#17 is the first professional essay book published under the redesigned "Rakurs" book series visual identity standard. The refreshed layout tends to balance body, footnotes and images in a way that will not abruptly interfere with the continuance of reading where possible. Chapters are devided by blown up still images from films mentioned in the texts, depicting (when possible) the themes of the essays and serving as illustrative material. The covers of the series are covered in a black and white photo collage, highlighted by solid colors that defined for each printed edition.
